You Don’t Just Listen. You Own This Come-Up.
I’m Zische, an independent rapper from Nairobi, and I want to explain how this actually works — because it’s different from most artists, on purpose.
I don’t have a label. That used to feel like a disadvantage. Now I think it’s the best thing about what I’m building. It means there’s nothing between me and you. No middleman deciding what you get to hear or when. Just me, the music, and the people who showed up early.
So I treat you like a collaborator, not a customer.
If you’re on the free list, you hear unreleased music before the world does. If you’re in the Inner Circle, you’re in the room while songs are being built — demos, voice notes, decisions made out loud. You vote on artwork. You get first dibs on merch. Your name is part of the credits of this come-up.
Why give that much away? Because I’m not trying to extract the most money from the most strangers. I’m trying to build something real with the right people. 300 supporters who actually care beat 30,000 who scroll past. Fewer fans, deeper roots.
When this gets big — and it will — the people who were here first won’t just have watched it happen. They’ll have built it with me. That’s the deal. That’s ownership.
